Fiona Weir 

Fiona Weir worked in Film Production before moving into Casting. She trained with the renowned Casting Director Mary Selway with whom she worked for many years. Fiona recently cast Ammonite for Francis Lee which is currently screening in cinemas across the UK. She also cast the upcoming feature film The Duke for Roger Michell that will be released this Autumn. Prior to working on The Duke, she worked with Roger Michell on Blackbird, My Cousin Rachel, Venus, Enduring Love and The Mother. Fiona has cast for other leading Film Directors - Clint Eastwood (J. Edgar, Invictus), Roman Polanski (Ghost Writer, Carnage), Peter Weir (Master and Commander), Rupert Goold (Judy) and David Yates for whom Fiona cast five of the Harry Potter films in total and the three films in the Fantastic Beasts series. Other work includes Brooklyn for John Crowley, Room for Lenny Abrahamson, Everest for Baltasar Kormakur, Suffragette for Sarah Gavron, Pride for Matthew Warchus, Judy for Rupert Goold. Fiona has just completed The School for Good and Evil for Paul Feig (with who she previously worked with on Last Christmas), and Life After Life for John Crowley which are both presently in production. Television work includes Brassic. written by Daniel Brocklehurst and Joe Gilgun. Season 3 will air again on Sky this autumn and Season 4 is already in production. Fiona was nominated for an Emmy for The Girl In The Café, a Bifa for Brooklyn, and won the Artios Award for Room.

Helena Coan

Helena Coan is a British director and writer, who works in both documentary and narrative. Her first narrative short film KEEPSAKE premiered in 2018 at Underwire Film Festival, where it was nominated for a Screenwriting Award. Her micro-budget debut documentary feature CHASING PERFECT (2019), produced by Salon Pictures and distributed by Lionsgate, was released in both the UK and US to a positive reception, and was picked up by Netflix.In November 2020, Helena's second feature documentary AUDREY, an intimate look at Audrey Hepburn's life, was released to critical acclaim across the world. It was produced by Salon Pictures and distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures. Helena has just completed her third feature documentary, the Amazon Original LIONESS. The film tells the story of boxer Nicola Adams, the first woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing, and the unjust world of women's boxing. It is set for release in October 2021. Helena has just written, directed and produced a short dark comedy DEATH AND DOG WALKING which will premiere at Aesthetica Film Festival in November, and is currently in post production of a short horror film BLOOD RITES for the BBC. She is now in development on her first feature narrative film with Salon Pictures and Lionsgate and is developing other original feature and documentary ideas.

Tonia Mishiali

Tonia is a Cypriot writer/director and producer whose work focuses on social and women’s issues. She is a member of the Hellenic and European Film Academies and the European Women's Audiovisual Network. She is Berlinale Talents alumna and co-artistic director of Cyprus Film Days International Festival, having also served as vice president of the Directors Guild of Cyprus. She has been on several film festival juries and a script reader for the Greek Film Centre. After many years of directing for television and theatre, Tonia fulfilled her dream and pursued her passion for filmmaking. Her short films, DEAD END (2013), LULLABY OF THE BUTTERFLY (2014) and I DON’T LIKE THE WIND, I LIKE THE SUN (2020) have been officially selected in more than 100 international film festivals worldwide, including many prestigious and A-list ones like Locarno, Palm Springs, Sarajevo, Transilvania, Encounters, Busan, Drama and Cork, winning several awards for Best Director and Best Film. DEAD END is represented by the SND Films (NL) and has been sold to Asia, USA and Europe. Her debut feature PAUSE (2018), a Cyprus/Greece co-production, is represented by Film Republic (UK) and has participated in cocoPITCH 2015 and in Karlovy Vary WIP 2017. It has been officially selected in more than 80 international film festivals, including Santa Barbara and Seattle as well as many FIAPF accredited 'A' list festivals, like Karlovy Vary, Sydney, Cairo, Stockholm, Sofia, Kitzbuhel and Transilvania.

Tomasz Wasilewski 

Born 1980. Polish scriptwriter and director. He graduated from Academy of Film and Television and The National Film School in Łódź.  His full – length feature debut In a Bedroom (W sypialni) had it’s world premiere in Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2012 and was one of the most frequently presented Polish films at the international film festivals. In a Bedroom received several prizes including Ecumenical Jury Award in Mannheim-Heildelberg International Film Festival 2012. His 2nd feature film Floating Skyscrapers (Płynące Wieżowce) had it’s world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival in New York City 2013. American film criticts of IndieWire chose Floating Skyscrapers the best movie presented at Tribeca; the film went on to win East of the West Competition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2013, the Best Directing Award at Transilvania International Film Festival 2014, the Audience Award at the International Competition New Horizons in Wrocław, the Best New Directing Talent and the Grand Prix of Juth Jury at Gdynia Film Festival, Poland. In 2016 Variety Magazine picked Tomasz Wasilewski one of “10 Europeans to Watch”. His 3rd film United States of Love (Zjednoczone Stany Miłości) had it’s world premiere at 66th Berlin International Film Festival 2016 (Competition) and won Silver Bear for Best Script as well Tomasz Wasilewski was nominated as Best European Scriptwriter at 29th European Film Awards. For Best Director he received awards at Valleta FF and Gdynia FF. He is working on his 4th feature film now, Fools.

Lee Magiday 

Lee Magiday founded Sleeper Films with a core ambition to bring evocative, impactful and singular storytelling to a wide international audience. Lee was a producer on Yorgos Lanthimos’ multi-award winning The Favourite starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz; The Lobster which starred Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz and an Associate Producer on Irish box office hit The Guard, directed by John Michael McDonagh and starring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle. Beginning her career in independent production, Lee worked at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment and Universal Pictures before heading up Focus Features’ European offices. Lee started in the independent production arena producing music videos and continues to be supportive of new talent, consulting for various bodies including the NFTS and the BIFAs.

Gemma Jackson 

Gemma Jackson has been designing for film and television for many years yet never ceases to be inspired and challenged by each new world she is invited to create. She is the original designer and creator for GAME OF THRONES and designed the first three seasons. She won a Primetime Emmy for Season 2. She has recently wrapped on The Outfit, the directorial debut of acclaimed screen writer Graham Moore. Previously she designed HBO’s new series The Nevers and is so proud of it has returned for Season 2. Gemma designed a huge new interpretation of Disney’s much loved story of ALADDIN directed by Guy Ritchie who she had worked previously with on KING ARTHUR LEGEND OF THE SWORD for Warners and more latterly she also designed The Gentlemen for Guy Ritchie. Of the many other projects, Gemma designed the disquieting environment for the Sky Atlantic series FORTITUDE for which she was nominated for a BAFTA and a highly acclaimed HBO mini series JOHN ADAMS for which she won a Primetime Emmy. Her many movies include BRIDGET JONES DIARY, BRIDGET JONES THE EDGE OF REASON, IRIS, THE BORROWERS, STATE AND MAIN, THE WINSLOW BOY, THE OTHER MAN,  DEATH DEFYING ACTS, PAPERHOUSE. Gemma designed FINDING NEVERLAND for which she was nominated for both an Academy award and a BAFTA. She also has a Lifetime Achievement award from the BFDG and several ADG awards.

Petra Meterc

Petra Meterc is a freelance journalist and film critic, based in Slovenia. For years she was writing and reporting on film and literature for one of the oldest independent non-commercial urban radio stations in Europe, Radio Študent. She now publishes in Ekran magazine for Film and Television and KINO! magazine, third national radio programme ARS, as well as other media outlets, mostly focusing on independent cinema. She is a Berlinale Talent Press and IFFR Trainee Project for Young Film Critics alumna. In 2020, she received the Ekran magazine recognition award for film critics.

Colette de Castro

Colette de Castro studied at Auckland University before moving to Paris in 2008 to continue her studies in drama and cinema at the Sorbonne. She is a writer for the East European Film Bulletin, an online magazine which brings together journalism and academia. When she's not watching and writing about film, she teaches English for diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in France.
